Acceptable Use Policy
Version draft-2026-10-25
What this policy covers
Every QR Wear shirt opens a page its owner controls. This policy applies to everything on that page: text, images, links and where those links lead. By publishing a page you agree to it. If you break it, we can pause or remove your page and disable the code on your shirt, without a refund where the breach is serious.
Not allowed on a QR Wear page
- Phishing or fraud: pages or links that collect passwords, payment details or personal information under false pretences, fake giveaways, investment or crypto scams.
- Malware: links to software that harms devices, steals data or installs without consent, and links to IP loggers or trackers that hide what they are.
- Sexual content hosted on our pages: no nudity or sexually explicit images or text on the page itself, including avatars and logos.
- Anything involving minors in a sexual or exploitative way. We remove it at once, keep the evidence and report it to the authorities (Cybertip.ca in Canada, NCMEC in the US).
- Harassment: targeting, threatening, bullying or sharing private information about a person (doxxing), or encouraging others to do so.
- Impersonation: pretending to be another person, brand or organisation, including look-alike web addresses, or implying an endorsement you do not have.
- Hate: content that attacks or dehumanises people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, caste, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or serious disease.
- Violent extremism, credible threats of violence, and content promoting self-harm.
- Illegal goods and services, and links whose main purpose is to sell them.
- Content you do not have the right to share, such as someone else's photos, artwork or trademarks.
- Spam and deceptive redirects: pages that exist only to bounce scanners to unrelated or changing destinations.
Links to adult sites (18+)
You may link to adult platforms where you are a creator (for example OnlyFans or Fansly). We never host the explicit content ourselves. Anyone who scans your shirt sees an 18+ notice before they can open those links, and must confirm they are an adult. You must be 18 or older, and of legal age where you live, to publish such links. The "Swipe right" template is 18+ and must not contain sexual content.
How we check
- Every link is checked against Google Web Risk and our own rules when you save it, and again every day. A link that fails blocks publishing; if a live link starts failing, we pause the page and email you so you can fix it.
- Short links (bit.ly and similar) are expanded, and every step is checked.
- Uploaded images (avatar and logo) are screened automatically, and some are held for a person to review before they appear.
- Visitors outside our site see a notice before leaving to an external link.
Reporting a page
Every page has a Report button; you do not need an account. Choose a reason and add a note if it helps. We aim to act on reports within one hour, and sooner for phishing, malware and anything involving minors. We may remove content first and review afterwards.
What happens when a page breaks this policy
- We may pause the page, remove it, or disable the shirt's code. A disabled code shows a "This code has been disabled" notice to anyone who scans it.
- We record every action in an audit log.
- If you think we got it wrong, reply to our email or write to the address below and a person will review it.
- Repeated or serious breaches end your account. We may share information with law enforcement where the law requires it.
Copyright and legal notices
To report copyright infringement (including DMCA notices) or send any other legal notice, write to [NOTICE CONTACT — placeholder: legal email and mailing address of Sara's Art Corner Inc., and the registered DMCA agent, to be filled before launch]. Include the shirt's code (the 6 characters under the QR), what the problem is, and how to reach you.
Changes
We may update this policy. We will post the new version here with its date and, for material changes, email page owners before it takes effect.
